Supreme Court has removed lifetime restrictions in the IPL spot-fixing case on S Sreesanth.


The Supreme Court has removed lifetime restrictions in the IPL spot-fixing case by cricketer S Sreesanth. The Supreme Court says that the BCCI has the right to have disciplinary proceedings.


The court has ordered BCCI to give a hearing to Sreesanth and sentence for 3 months. The Supreme Court said that BCCI should revisit the ban imposed on Sreesanth. The court said that the BCCI has decided in three months. The court said that the parties of BCCI Sreesanth also heard. The Supreme Court said that Lifetime Ban is more.

A bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Justice Ashok Bhushan, told the BCCI that he will decide soon about the punishment given to Sreesanth within three months.


Now Sreesanth will have to pronounce the judgment within three months to the BCCI that what punishment will be given to him after removing the restriction on him.


Let the BCCI impose lifetime restrictions on Sreesanth if found guilty of spot-fixing in IPL-2013. Against this, Sreesanth had filed a petition in the Supreme Court. Earlier, the BCCI said in court that Sreesanth is accused of corruption, betting and dishonoring the sport.


After the verdict of the Supreme Court, Sreesanth gave his reaction and said that he is ready to return to the ground again. Within three months the BCCI has to take a decision. But, this is not much I have waited so long, a little waiting and right.
